Basketball England On-Line Courses

Just a reminder, that Basketball England are running online course for table officials and level 1 referees.

This would be a great opportunity for you to get some of your players or team followers qualified.

Remember, there are grants available from the Gloucestershire Association to help you with these costs.

Basketball Restarting

Basketball England, along with the government, gave basketball permission to restart indoors from the 3rd August, under strict conditions, so we are at from that date at level 2.

Be very aware that we can, and that could be a club a league a region or national go back to level 3 at any time.

So please read the guidelines on the Basketball England website carefully, there are some downloads in there which will help guide you through what you have to do.

The committee will have a zoom meeting, to discuss the way forward for Gloucestershire.

Each club must nominate a COVID officer who will be in charge of keeping details of everyone attending practise and games when they start, I will need the name of that person as soon as possible.

But this is giving us all the chance to get back to the game we love. There will be significant changes to how we all approach the game, so I can only reiterate read and adhere to the guidelines for the benefit off the whole basketball family.

At present any problems contact me until the association appoints a COVID officer.
