Gloucester Blazers have had to withdraw from the Gloucestershire League for the coming season. None of their matches will be played.
Please ensure you update you fixtures lists. All teams are reminded of their obligation to provide referees into the refereeing pool.
Teams that do not meet this requirement may be interested in a referees course being held on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th September, in Filton, near Bristol.
See the DOWNLOADS section for more details and an application form.
Referees have now been assigned to the pre-Christmas league fixtures, and these have been updated on to the Fixtures page.
If you are a team secretary, please ensure that your nominated officials are aware of which matches they have been assigned to, and that they are aware of their responsibilities.
If you are an unassigned referee, please check your assignments carefully. All referees are reminded of the following rules ...
"8d) Any named referee unable to officiate a fixture allocated to him/her must supply a suitable substitute and inform the league secretary. The referee originally appointed will still remain responsible for the attendance of the substitute."
"8e) Any team failing to fulfil its refereeing commitments will be fined £20 for each referee. On the second and subsequent time(s) of failing to supply referees the fine will be £30." All teams playing at the Police HQ in Quedgley are required to pre-adivse their team details by 17:00 on the Friday before the match.
A form is provided in the DOWNLOADS section of this website.
Details on where to send the form can also be found on the DOWNLOADS page.
