This course is open to anyone and will teach people the key statistical areas used in basketball statistics, using both the FIBA statistics manual and key video examples. It will also include an introduction to the FIBA Livestats software. This is a great opportunity to get involved in statistics and potentially progress onto taking stats at National League games.
The course will be split into two parts. Firstly we will look at the main statistical areas so that you know how to record the game of basketball. Secondly we will look at the FIBA Livestats software, this is the leading basketball stats software package used by FIBA and England basketball.
