Coaching Courses

Team Gloster Jets are holding 2 coaching courses this summer.

• LEVEL I
  This is the basic level of award in coaching basketball for those with little or no knowledge of basketball and is suitable for those coaches wishing to work alongside more qualified coaches in a club or school environment. It provides candidates the skills to deliver FUNdamental based session.
  
  To be held on 31st July (Saturday) and 1st August (Sunday), 2010, @ Deer Park School, Cirencester.
  Cost £85.
   
• LEVEL II
  This award prepares candidates to coach in senior and junior clubs and is suitable for teachers and club coaches with a prior knowledge of basketball and/or coaching/teaching or those who already hold the Level 1 coaching qualification. This course is a rare opportunity to complete the qualification within 1 week, with only the log book to complete following the course.
  
  Course dates are August 2nd (Monday), 4th (Wednesday), 6th (Friday) & 7th (Saturday), 2010, @ Deer Park School, Cirencester.
  Cost £160.
   

There is a minimum age for certification of 16 for Level 1 and 18 for Level 2. However, it is permissible to take the course before achieving these ages, and the certificate would then be awarded when you reach the minimum age. We can also provide written evidence that you have completed the course.

Attend both courses for a total of £200.

Concessions are available for GBBA members and students.
