Cup Competitions

For the first time we have a 'preliminary' round of cup matches.

The top 3 sides from before Christmas, Kings, Bears and Leadonites, have all been given a bye for this round.

These teams willl join the winners of the 5 preliminary matches in the Dexter Dawson Cup.

The 8 teams will be split into 2 pools of 4, where they will play each other once.

The top team from each pool will play each other in the final.

Teams that lost their preliminary round match will be put into a seperate pool, to complete in the John Llewellyn Handicap Cup competition.

A handicap will be applied to each team, and the teams will play each other once.

The top two teams will play each other once more in the final.

Further fixture details will be posted once the preliminary matches have been completed.

Post Christmas Fixtures

The Post Christmas Fixtures are now available on the Fixtures page.

As discussed at the A.G.M., the league has been split into two divisions.

There are 6 teams in division 1, and 7 in division 2.

I have tried to reverse the fixtures from the pre-Christmas league, but this hasn't always been practical.

Christmas Message

The committee would like to wish all the GBBA participants, and their supporters, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Team Name Changes

With the introduction of their 2nd team, Stroud have renamed both of their teams.

Stroud Sharks Blue is the new name for the original Sharks, with the new team known as Stroud Sharks White.
