After the recent GBBA committee meeting, and taking on board the general opinion voiced at the AGM that teams would like something a little different this season, it was suggested that all teams will play in 1 division before Christmas.
Teams will play each other just the once. As we have 12 teams in the league, we will need to fit in 11 games per team. This means some teams will play 5 home and 6 away games, others 6 home and 5 away.
Due to the limited number of weeks available, and multiple teams playing on the same night, it does mean that teams may be asked to play twice in the same week. Sorry - but this is unavoidable.
After Christmas, the league will split into two divisions, based on the results ( or in the case of forfeited matches, the predicted results ) of the pre Christmas division.
I will shortly forward the fixtures to Ian to ensure there are enough referees to cover each match.
Once he has completed his checks, I will post the fixtures on the wesbite.
Details of the cup competions will follow shortly.
